The brand-new interior design of the Netherlands Embassy in Athens features an authentic airport wayfinding system.
It was designed and manufactured in cooperation with Mijksenaar and Schiphol Airport. The signs specify the activity of each area and evoke an image of the Netherlands that is recognizable to both Dutch and foreign visitors.
The Netherlands Embassy in Athens was selected as a pilot project for the implementation of an office philosophy known as ‘Het Nieuwe Werken’. The ambassador himself no longer has a private office but works at one of the available workstations.
The interior design was developed by gfra architecture.
