New insights for 46 train stations
ProRail, The Netherlands Completion: 2009–2011
Ten years after the introduction of the wayfinding system, new insights led to the modernization and adaptation of the Netherlands’ 46 most-used train stations.
Mijkensaar conducted a series of user/stakeholder workshops, revised and implemented the wayfinding involved (from platform to other-than-train transport and vice versa) with the valuable information obtained during this process.
This happened after user groups/stakeholders had inspected the stations and given their input. The information thus obtained was of great value to the project.
