A profound audit review of the new terminal

Due to complaints and deficiencies in wayfinding, Mijksenaar was requested to improve the wayfinding system and enhance customer satisfaction.
By performing a profound audit, Mijksenaar unfolded the challenges within the passenger process(es), the signage system, and the sign locations. Together with the airports management team, Mijksenaar implemented the identified improvements.
Mijksenaar supported the IGIA management with the optimization of branding and the design of retail and F&B related wayfinding and signage.

A wayfinding system for staff areas (back of house) was introduced based on a new concept with room numbers instead of functions which makes the system more flexible and therefore sustainable.

Mijksenaar introduced a walking distances section on the map to indicate distances (in minutes) to the gates.
