Many parties at the airport, such as retailers, advertise their presence in a hit-or-miss manner, in arbitrary locations and with no uniformity of design. The result is chaotic, with none of the charismatic appeal that this airport is aiming for. Mijksenaar proposed ground rules for a homogeneous approach to media signage and displays.
We want airport visitors to have an easier time locating shops, restaurants and cafés.
Mijksenaar provides the client with the tools needed to communicate all sorts of information throughout the terminal. For example instructions about what can and cannot be taken aboard the airplane are communicated in a clear and recognizable style.
