Successfully connecting the old and the new
Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder Completion: 2010–2015
Museum Our Lord in the Attic is one of the oldest and most remarkable museums in Amsterdam.
It houses a ‘schuilkerk’, or ‘clandestine church’ from the 1660s.
Starting point of this project was the expansion of the current building while involving the neighbouring premises in the building process. Mijksenaar was involved as a wayfinding consultant.
