Who you are

As Office Manager at Mijksenaar, you are a real asset to the company. Each day is different than the one before. You are the first face people see when they come by our office and the first voice they hear when they call. At the office, you are the person our colleagues reach out to for office supplies and IT matters.

In addition to your office management tasks, you will organize events and company outings. You know how to multitask and keep an overview of all the happenings in the workspace. You have a natural desire to unburden others and facilitate workplace-related requests. You are a good listener with an open, approachable, and discreet personality.

You enjoy working with our Management Team (MT) and supporting them wherever possible. Primarily by coordinating meetings, taking minutes at MT meetings, and arranging business travel.

What we require

This is a short list of capabilities we ask of our new Office Manager, but we are always open to people with very different needs and competencies.

  • You have a relevant MBO or HBO education;
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience;
  • You have communicative skills in both Dutch and English;
  • You know IT or are willing to learn it;
  • You are service-oriented;
  • You are proactive and not afraid to come up with innovative ideas;
  • You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture;
  • You enjoy organizing events.

Mijksenaar is a design and consultancy firm that is specialized in wayfinding. From our studios in Amsterdam and New York, we develop wayfinding solutions that connect people with spaces and places all over the world. Our clients require unique and specialized solutions ranging from a graphic, spatial and digital design.

We help travelers find their way in major international airports, guide tourists and residents through the city’s most beautiful streets and let children determine their journey in the zoo. At the moment, our team counts approximately 35 colleagues.
