On November 2016, the municipality of Rotterdam is hosting the Binnenstadssymposium 2016. This event gives visitors the opportunity to see the city centre of Rotterdam from a different point of view.
Mijksenaar has a stand at the networking fair. Here, visitors can draw their own ‘mental map’ of the city. How well do they actually know the city centre? All of these mental maps produce data about the readability of the city, which is valuable input to Mijksenaar, the municipality’s wayfinding advisor.
Paul Mijksenaar will also present his view of the city at the symposium. Besides paying attention to places that are special to him and to unique aspects of this city, he will of course also take a close look at its wayfinding and readability.
