The Centraal Museum is comprised of a series of historical buildings, including a church, and modern extensions within a historical garden.

Mijksenaar designed a permanent signage system for the museum's labyrinth' of buildings. We utilized strong color combinations for the changing signs of short-term contemporary exhibitions and more subtle colors for the permanent signs of the ongoing historical exhibition.
