Activities of the Paul Mijksenaar Foundation
The Paul Mijksenaar Foundation, a global multi-disciplinary center for research and debate in the field of information design and architecture in the modern world. The Foundation tries to achieve this by initiating their own projects such as providing courses, lectures and workshops. As well as the development of standards and norms.
In addition, the foundation provides access to its own knowledge centre to achieve this objective.
The Foundation has initiated the Paul Mijksenaar Design for Function Award in 2011. A new bi-annual prize introduced to honour useful designs.
Can I visit the archives?
The archives (a private institution) are not open to the public. Exceptions for the purpose of (scientific) research and for students working on theses or special projects on the afore mentioned categories. Materials can only be consulted at the Paul Mijksenaar Foundation after making an appointment. It is however possible to make (photo) copies (at cost price).
